The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all bookings made with the Ascosa Aventure hotel, whether at www.ascosa.corsica  via the individual hotel website or by telephone or otherwise:

I – BOOKING PROCESS

You can book at the Ascosa Aventure hotel by phone with our team, online via our website www.ascosa.corsica or via booking engines as Booking.com or Expedia. The Ascosa Aventure hotel website is a “showcase” which presents the hotel and the services it offers. The photos on the website are shown as an illustration and have no contractual value.

The guest chooses the service presented on the website and acknowledges having taken notice of the nature and the modalities of this booking. He/she acknowledges having requested and obtained the necessary a/o additional information to make his/her booking with full knowledge of the facts. The guest is solely responsible for his/her choice of services and the suitability of those services for his/her needs. The Ascosa Aventure hotel cannot be held responsible in this respect. The booking is deemed accepted by the guest at the end of the booking process as described below.

The reservation made by the guest is done via www.ascosa.corsica booking engine or via partner booking platforms. The reservation is deemed to be done upon receipt of the booking request, fully completed and with the total payment, by the hotel. Before any booking, the guest undertakes to complete the information requested for the reservation. The guest certifies that the information given is true, accurate and complete.

The booking process includes the following steps that the guest agrees to respect: choose the period of stay ; enter the number of adult(s) and child(ren) and the number of room(s) ; choose the type(s) of room ; choose one or more additional services ; verification of the booking details, the total price and the terms of sale ;  make any necessary changes to the selection (room, rate, additional services) ; enter guest’s information ; enter credit card details for the payment of the stay (the hotel website complies with the legal obligations in terms of bank data collection and storage) ; consult and accept the terms and conditions ; confirmation of the reservation by the guest.

The guest’s booking shall be subject of an acknowledgment of receipt by email, automatically processed by the hotel’s website or partner booking engines’ one, and sent to the email address provided by the guest. The email summarizes the services reserved, the period and length of stay, the number of guests (adult and child), the prices and the hotel’s contact in case of requests or complaints.

The guest affirms that he is of legal age (18) and has the necessary legal capacity to contract the services offered by the hotel.

II – PRICING

Our pricing will fluctuate depending on availability and demand at any given time. All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are subject to availability and are inclusive of VAT at the current prevailing rate. Your price is guaranteed once you have been given a confirmation number.

The room’s price includes the services indicated in the various descriptions and generally does not include:

– Breakfast, drinks and personal expenses
– Half-board and full-board
– The cleaning of the room during the stay
– Extra services, excursions or activities
– Cancellation insurance

III – PAYMENT

For any reservation at the Ascosa Aventure hotel, payment in full is required for the entire stay at time of booking.

Mean of payment for online bookings on www.ascosa.corsica or partner booking engines:
– Credit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Maestro) via Payline or others payment service providers.

Mean of payment for bookings by phone at 0033 495 476 948:
– Credit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Maestro) via distance selling with credit card numbers, name of the credit card’s owner, validity date and cryptogram. We use the Crédit Agricole’s distance selling system. Transactions are secured.

Accepted means of payment for bookings at Ascosa Aventure hotel’s desk:
– Cash (French Law does not accept payment by cash over €3000)
– Credit or debit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Maestro)

IV – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

According to the Article L 121-20-4, 2° of the French Consumer Code, the 7-days-right of withdrawal mentioned in the Article L121.20 shall not apply to travel deals sector, accommodation and leisures services, transportation and catering.

Therefore all bookings are subject to the change and cancellation policy set out in these terms.

V – CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES

Reservations at the Ascosa Aventure hotel are non-transferable, non-refundable and unmodifiable. Bookings are firm and definitive.

Bookings are non-refundable in case of no-show, delay, modification or interruption of the stay.

In the unlikely event that the Ascosa Aventure hotel has to change or cancel your reservation, the hotel reserves the right to do so (including, without limitation, offering the relocation of your booking to another hotel). If this does arise the guest can accept the changed arrangements as notified, he/she can make an alternative arrangement with the hotel or he/she can cancel his/her reservation and receive a full refund of the payment.

VI – REFUNDS

Refunds are made by bank transfer or transaction reversal in case of payment by credit card.

VII – TRANSFER OF THE CONTRACT

According to the Articles L.211-11 and R.211-7 of the French Code of Tourism, the guest may transfer the contract (excluding insurance) to a third party, provided he/she informs the hotel in writing within 7 days from the date of arrival. He/she will have to specify the name and address of the transferee and will have to justify that he/she fulfil the conditions to contract. Only the entire stay can be transferred.

Insurances are non-transferable and non-refundable.

VIII – GUEST BEHAVIOR

During your stay at Ascosa Aventure hotel, it is your responsibility to ensure that you or one of your group members do not behave inappropriately. It is your responsibility to ensure that you or one of your group members do not behave in a way that could jeopardize, torment, injure or affect others or that could damage someone’s property (including drunkenness and aggressive behavior).

In the event that your behavior seems to be inappropriate to us and could jeopardize, torment, injure or affect others or that could damage someone’s property, we shall be obliged to take appropriate measures in order to ensure the security and comfort of our guests and their property. Such measures may include stopping your stay. In that case, our obligations to you will stop immediately and you will not be able to obtain any refunds or indemnities. In addition, you would be required to reimburse the costs related to that termination.

IX – INSURANCES

We have taken out professional liability insurance with Allianz Assurances group, Jean-Luc Guidicelli, 11Bis boulevard du Fango, BP261, 20296 Bastia, policy n° 46794036

However, we advise you to have your own civil liability insurance a/o to take out additional insurance such as multi-risk, cancellation or repatriation ones.

We also remind you that some credit or debit cards include these types of insurances when paying. Contact your bank for more information.

X – COMPLAINTS OR COMMENTS

Any verbal notification must be put in writing. If you remain dissatisfied, you must write to the Ascosa Aventure hotel, within 30 days of the end of your stay, giving your booking reference and full details of your complaint. We strongly advise you to make your complaint or comment in the first instance to the hotel’s duty manager at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time. Any situation that may arise shall be resolved by the Bastia Commercial Court.

XI – DATA PRIVACY
